Sakana Sushi stands out as my go-to spot for all-you-can-eat sushi in Vegas, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The proportion of fish to rice is superb, leading me to usually opt for nigiri over the assorted rolls and their accompanying sauces. While many sushi establishments offer a similar menu, Sakana sets itself apart by offering exclusive selections of uni, scallops, oysters, and particularly delectable ocean trout.
Beyond nigiri, the restaurant boasts an extensive array of cooked appetizers, skewers, soups, salads, rolls, and desserts, though sodas and other beverages are available at an extra charge. The seafood's freshness is unparalleled, with each bite melting in the mouth - a rarity for all-you-can-eat venues. Service efficiency is noteworthy, with staff promptly taking and fulfilling orders. I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit!

My friends and I spent the weekend in town for a birthday celebration and chose Sakana for our dinner. On a bustling Saturday night, our party of 12 (split into two groups of 6) was seated after just a 30-minute wait, which was surprisingly quick!
Opting for the all-you-can-eat option, I was genuinely impressed by the swift service and the extensive selection of seafood available. Believe it or not, we placed our initial order, and the dishes arrived within just 2 minutes. The balance of rice to fish was perfect. My top picks were the raw shrimp, squid, and ocean trout - all incredibly fresh.
The service was decent; although our server wasn't overly attentive, his busyness made it understandable. We arrived to a clean table and enjoyed great music throughout our meal. The atmosphere was fantastic.
I'm definitely planning a return visit next time I'm in Vegas, thanks to the exceptional dining experience!

Our visit to this off-strip Japanese sushi restaurant in Vegas was exceptionally good from start to finish.
The service was quick, warm, and efficient, and the decor featured an interesting mix of Japanese and American cultural memorabilia.
Opting for the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) lunch, we were thoroughly impressed by the freshness, quality, and variety of both nigiri and sushi rolls. The fish was notably fresh, enhanced by well-chosen toppings and sauces. We sampled almost every nigiri available and found each one satisfying.
The menu offered both classic rolls (like California, tempura, and lion king) and inventive flavor combinations. The option for half orders on the rolls was a thoughtful touch, enabling us to explore a wide range of tastes.
In summary, the experience provided excellent value for the high quality and amount of food served, complemented by outstanding service.

We visited this restaurant for a New Year's lunch on a Tuesday and ended up waiting for 1.5 hours. However, the establishment offers a convenient mobile waitlist system, so you can roam freely instead of standing outside the restaurant; they give you a five-minute window to return once your table is ready. Conveniently, there's a Target nearby where we passed the time.
The restaurant is cozy, offering booth, bar, and table seating. We were seated at 3pm but were still able to order from the lunch menu, which is priced at $25.95 for all-you-can-eat.
For starters, we tried the shrimp tempura and cream shrimp. My preference leaned towards the regular tempura, finding the cream cheese variant overly rich and lacking in flavor enhancement. The katsu disappointed me as well; it was overly fried with scant meat. The sushi, on the other hand, was satisfactory. The nigiri wasn't overloaded with rice, which I appreciated, and the raw fish tasted fresh. Among the sushi options, I found the classic rolls more enjoyable than the signature ones.
Overall, considering the price, it's a solid choice for all-you-can-eat sushi. Despite the lengthy wait, it was a manageable experience.

I've sampled a variety of all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi establishments around Vegas, particularly in the Chinatown district, and this one has quickly become a favorite!
Upon our arrival, the place was lively, with a wait time of about 30 minutes for a table for two. The wait was hardly an inconvenience, thanks to a conveniently located Target in the same plaza where we could easily kill time. Interestingly, some diners even had their luggage with them under the tables, likely enjoying a final meal before heading to the airport.
Sakana Sushi stands out from other AYCE sushi spots we've visited due to its broad selection, particularly the nigiri, which included some "one time all day only" options. The balance of fish to rice here was just right—unlike other places that often serve too much rice with the fish. Moreover, everything we tried was fresh and tasted fantastic. Despite the restaurant's bustling state, the food was served quickly, and the servers were prompt in taking our orders for subsequent rounds. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Now I get why it's so well-regarded!
